The Role

This role is responsible for supporting Insignia Financials administrator and service company’s agreements with our key strategic partners providing ongoing oversight, monitoring and reporting of Critical Service Providers. Reporting to Head of Administration Services, this role is focussed on assurance to determine how key outsourcing processes, risks and controls are being managed and performed by internal agreement managers and material service providers. This role will have overall responsibility for management of the Supplier Relationship Monitoring and Reporting and uplift and implementation of changes as a consequence of CPS 230 Operational Effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, undertaking and supporting the ‘first line of defence’ in their risk management responsibilities through the provision of outsourcing assurance and Supplier Relationship Management Activities
  • Providing Operational Risk/Regulatory Compliance subject matter expertise in the identification of outsourcing related risks and assessing control design and effectiveness
  • Providing, assurance and subject matter expertise in regard to Outsourcing processes/regulatory requirements and impact to Insignia Group Entities
  • Identification of enhancement / improvement opportunities to the outsourcing risk management frameworks;
  • Preparation of Board Reporting on status, health and impacts of Insignia Group Outsourcing arrangements.
  • Consult with business stakeholders and advise on engagement of Boards Regulatory Affairs and outsourcing due diligence requirements.
  • Manage and provide Assurance over the monthly, quarterly and Annual Supplier Relationship Management process.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to Supplier Relationship Managers on monitoring and reporting of outsourced service providers.
  • Demonstrate ongoing commitment to continuous improvement of processes to optimise team performance whilst ensuring an integrated outcome within and across functions.

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Working knowledge of Regulatory standards as they relate to Outsourcing and Operational Effectiveness, Offshoring and Cloud computing
  • Superannuation or Banking experience is essential.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and obligations against the Outsourcing Framework
  • Solid Analytical skills and ability to report data in a meaningful manner.
  • Ability to recommend solutions and apply analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience is a similar role desirable - managing corporate relationships, supplier management governance or outsourcing risk.
  • Experience in the preparation of high quality board level reports, proposals, letters and emails.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with an ability to influence and deal with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and obligations.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (presentations).
