The opportunity to join our team
As an Investment Analyst, your main purpose is to provide general and analytical investment input into the management of asset allocations across MySuper options as well as provide analytical support in the management of the direct property strategy. This role will suit an individual with a desire to learn and a real interest in building a career in Asset Management.
Working closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the portfolio management of MySuper diversified portfolios through:
- Ongoing monitoring of asset allocation of portfolios;
- Conducting portfolio and asset allocation research and analytics;
- Drafting presentations, reports, and investment committee papers; and
- General investment research and support to assist in management of portfolios.
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of asset management strategies for the direct property portfolio
- Assist with the valuation cycle, accounting and financial reporting for the direct property trust
- Ad hoc activities as directed
What you will bring:
- A positive, proactive attitude and client service approach
- Excellent written and communications skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise with excellent time management
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and report writing skills
- Advance Microsoft Excel skill
- Previous exposure to institutional property owners is advantageous
- Industry experience from investment manager, asset owner or asset consultant is highly regarded
- Strong academic results from tertiary qualifications in finance/economics or related field. CFA qualification is preferred.
