The opportunity to join our team
As the Head of Data Enablement, you will play a key role in optimizing and driving value from data to fuel our business growth. The data space within Insignia Financial is at an exciting time in which the potential for innovation, enablement and impact is immense. This role offers you the chance to work alongside a forward-thinking data leadership team, be supported by our executive leadership, to lead change, drive innovation, and influence decision-making across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of data initiatives, including strategic projects, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operational needs.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring data initiatives are aligned with business goals and delivered successfully.
- Shape and define data use cases based on business needs, optimizing investments in foundational data technologies (GCP, UDP, Collibra, MDM, Informatica, etc.).
- Streamline execution by managing the data backlog, ensuring alignment with both business and data strategies.
- Regularly showcase the capabilities of the data ecosystem to the business, raising awareness of current and future use cases.
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other data professionals to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives.
What You Bring to This Role
We’re looking for a leader with a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, as you will be representing the data function to the business. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in data product ownership or delivery, with a deep understanding of data platforms and the data lifecycle.
- Strong expertise in transforming business needs into actionable roadmaps, leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other key data technologies (UDP, Collibra, MDM).
- A creative and strategic mindset with a proven ability to innovate and drive change.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a track record of overcoming obstacles to deliver results.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
