The Role

The Digital Product Owner is responsible for the delivery of digital features across a range of public/secure websites and mobile apps for our clients. The role will be accountable for developing a clear and compelling vision that will be used to lead the scrum teams and align business stakeholders.

 

Additional responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Experience Designers to shape up new ideas into online experiences that target improved performance and align with the business strategy
  • Act as a conduit between business stakeholders, project teams, technology scrum teams, business partners to facilitate activities across these teams and the delivery of all digital related change
  • Define and prioritise digital stories, prioritise the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities aligned to business strategy and regulatory and compliance programs
  • Leverage data analytics, understanding of client needs/trends, assessment of current experiences, and competitive insights to identify opportunities that maximise engagement and lifetime value
  • Monitor health status, scope, resource, schedule, risk, issues, dependencies
  • Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements

 

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, IT, Analytics, Project Management, Business or a relevant field
  • Extensive experience in digital product management
  • Experience working across digital platforms (web public/secure and mobile apps)
  • Project management experience combined with strong leadership, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Exposure to working with a range of analytical tools and software such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology/practices
