As a Senior Risk Reporting Analyst, you will deliver timely, data-driven risk, compliance, and resilience insights to support the Groups 1st Line Risk & Compliance function. You will play a key role in monitoring the embedment of the Risk Management Framework and other critical policies, while identifying opportunities to enhance reporting through automation and simplification. Your work ensures that key risks and compliance obligations are actively managed to protect client and member outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Resilience and Reporting and Senior Manager, Risk Governance in implementing reporting requirements for the department.
- Implement monitoring and oversight processes to ensure effective embedment of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other key policies (e.g. Model Risk).
- Prepare and deliver regular and ad hoc data-driven risk and resilience reporting and insights using Atlas, ServiceNow, and other data sources, for 1st Line Risk teams, leadership, and governance forums/committees.
- Contribute to the uplift of 1st Line risk and compliance reporting and insights through automation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
- Analyse available data to identify opportunities to enhance risk and compliance practices across the Wrap, Master Trust, and Enterprise Services divisions.
- Coach, guide, and support team members, including reporting analysts, in delivering high-quality outputs.
- Provide coaching and support to the 1st Line Risk Team and other stakeholders on the use of available reporting tools.
- Offer risk expertise to projects and change initiatives (including regulatory change), supporting the delivery of risk assessments.
- Act as a 1st Line Risk & Compliance contact for the Atlas risk and compliance tool, focusing on reporting functionality and enhancements.
- Support the effective operation and reporting of Line 1 risk-owned governance forums, including Incident Review Forums and Management Risk Committees/Forums.
- Assist the 1st Line Risk & Compliance Team with other ad hoc tasks as required.
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Business or Finance.
- Experience in risk / compliance or reporting or analytics roles.
- Working knowledge of data and reporting platforms, including SharePoint and Power BI.
- Strong ability to translate complex data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience with governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- A strong desire to develop a career in risk and compliance within financial services.
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
