The opportunity to join our team
The Fund Bank Integrity team provides a specialist function within Fund Accounting and Operations in the oversight of monies in and out of wealth accounts. This ensures various superfunds/trusts regulatory requirements are met with respect to financial reporting and operating control obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enabling the Fund Banking Integrity team to achieve timely reconciliation of customer money
- Equip the Fund Banking Integrity team with investigation skills to effectively identify root cause of unreconciled customer money
- Open communication channels and regular forums with key stakeholders to manage the timely resolution of unreconciled customer money
- Supporting enterprise projects with subject matter expertise to drive high quality outcomes
- Support the Manager in implementing strategic change to create efficiencies and improve controls within the team
- Evidencing the operational effectiveness of key controls
What you will bring
- Degree Qualified or high level of industry operational experience, preferred CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards)
- 3+ years’ experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office products
- Strong analytical and technical skills, an ability to achieve specified outcomes within defined parameters, have influencing skills and an ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge of reconciliation software and functions in the context of financial services industry (large volume transactions).
- Experience in wealth management / financial services industry desirable
- Investment expertise –maintains an understanding of the asset management industry, superannuation industry and different securities and financial products and how they support investor goals
- Growth mindset and embracing of change
- Preferred familiarity with financial regulations
