The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the strategic transition of IFL brands into the future-state SS&C environment, ensuring a seamless integration of brand, positioning and communications across all stakeholder touchpoints (Member, Employer and Adviser).
This position sits within our Marketing and Engagement team and you will report directly to the Head of Mastertrust Member Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and delivering an end-to-end transition communications strategy that protects brand, minimises disruption, and strengthens confidence among members, advisers and employer partners, while supporting retention and growth objectives through clear, coordinated and compelling engagement.
- Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for the transition of IFL brands into the future-state SS&C environment.
- Develop and deliver integrated communication plans to support members, advisers and employer partners through the transition and minimise outflows.
- Leverage a strategic differentiated CVP/narrative for MLC to position as a leader driving a clear competitive advantage across key audience groups.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Risk, Legal and Marketing enablement teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery.
- Identify and manage transition risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise client confusion, complaints or attrition.
- Responsible for creative development, asset development, customer journey and experience development.
- Leverage a strategic differentiated CVP/narrative for MLC to position as a leader driving a clear competitive advantage.
- Accountable for the Marketing Communication stream across audience groups of the program and managing the change and comms across the broader customer teams.
- Analyse audience needs, triggers, pain points within the migration experience and build strategies to address.
- Own and manage the performance metrics, engagement outcomes and retention indicators, and optimise plans based on insights and data.
- Manage budget allocation and agency partners to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of transition activities.
- Management of the Marketing risk across campaign development and delivery to ensure we are operating within regulations.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in financial services marketing - strong focus on B2C audiences and experience in banking, wealth and superannuation
- A solid understanding of superannuation, banking, wealth, retirement and investment landscapes, drivers and sector challenges
- Knowledge of marketing and campaign activity with a proven experience with customer-contact strategy and execution
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communications skills – ability to communicate complexity in an accessible way
- Risk mindset – proactively identify, understand and act on current and future risks
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship building and influencing skills
- Experienced in translating business strategy into marketing plans - including segmentation and targeting, value proposition development, planning and forecasting, campaign design and management to deliver new innovations and business outcomes
- Ability to brief and guide creative professionals, digital teams, writers, designers etc.
- Data-driven and results oriented – focused on measurement to demonstrate value and drive continual improvement
- Ability to think innovatively and deliver new initiatives and ways of working
- Strong delivery focus and project management skills to ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in an environment with competing and shifting priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
