Excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand, drive employer engagement, and deliver business growth.

The role is accountable for understanding and anticipating the end clients (Employers) needs and building marketing campaigns and strategies that benefit the client and the business. In this role you will support the sales teams to position and communicate the proposition in-market as well as the Relationship Management teams to retain existing employers within MLC, Plum, IOOF and ANZSC and drive B2B2C employee growth. This is an important role where you will work with an amazing team and have the opportunity to showcase your skills.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive brand differentiation, employer engagement, retention and business growth aligned to the Master Trust business strategy
  • Oversee program execution, leveraging internal teams, key stakeholder groups, external suppliers
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to enhance employer relationships and engagement across all brands
  • Design and deliver employer programs grounded in business insights, addressing member needs, market context, and competitive dynamics
  • Creative development, asset development, employer journey and experience development
  • Leverage a strategic differentiated CVP/narrative for MLC to position as a leader driving a clear competitive advantage
  • Analyse audience needs, triggers, pain points within the onboarding experienced and build journeys, experiences and strategies to address these
  • Execute cross-channel campaigns, leveraging paid, owned, and earned media to maximize engagement and retention
  • Manage budgets, reporting, risk, and post-initiative reviews, continuously optimizing marketing efforts to drive business growth and positive member outcomes
  • Accountable for driving continuous optimisation and efficiencies across employer programs

 

What you will bring: 

  • Solid financial services experience
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate complexity in an accessible way
  • Risk mindset – proactively identify, understand and act on future risks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Experienced in translating business strategy into marketing plans
  • Ability to brief and guide creative professionals, digital teams, writers, designers etc
  • Data-driven and results oriented – ability to interpret and absorb data and synthesise complex information to come up with solutions and marketing strategies.
  • Strong delivery focus and project management skills to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in an environment with competing and shifting priorities
  • Strong problem -solving skills
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
