Senior Manager Risk Opportunities

We're seeking experienced Risk professionals to join our Enterprise Risk team across a number of Senior Manager opportunities. These roles provide independent Line 2 risk oversight and partner closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen governance, support strategic decision-making, and enhance outcomes for members and clients.

Opportunities may support key areas across our business, including:

• Superannuation and Trustee oversight
• Wrap Platforms and Wealth Management
• Investments
• Product and Operational Risk
• Governance, Compliance and Regulatory Risk

These are highly visible roles that combine strong risk management capability with commercial acumen. You'll work closely with business leaders to provide practical risk advice, challenge constructively, and support transformation initiatives in an evolving regulatory environment.

What you'll be doing

• Provide independent Line 2 risk oversight and constructive challenge across a range of products, services and business activities.
• Partner with Line 1 teams to embed Risk and Compliance Frameworks and strengthen risk management practices.
• Review business plans, policies, and Executive, Board and Committee papers, ensuring appropriate consideration of risk, governance and regulatory obligations.
• Assess the effectiveness of controls, governance arrangements and risk management frameworks to improve risk maturity and organisational outcomes.
• Support the management of incidents, breaches and conflicts of interest, including regulatory assessment and remediation activities.
• Contribute to a strong risk culture through collaboration, constructive challenge and continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders across Risk, Operations, Product, Investments, Transformation and Trustee functions to support business initiatives and change programs.

What you'll bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience within Operational Risk, Compliance or Enterprise Risk in financial services.
• Experience providing independent Line 2 oversight and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, governance practices and regulatory obligations.
• Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Superannuation and Trustee obligations
• Wrap Platforms, IDPS, SMAs and MDAs
• Investments and Wealth Management
• Product, Operational or Enterprise Risk
• Demonstrated experience strengthening controls, uplifting governance and enhancing risk maturity within complex organisations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and challenge constructively.
• A pragmatic, commercially minded approach to risk, with experience supporting organisations through transformation and change.
