The opportunity to join our team 

The Senior Manager Risk, Marketing Transformation will lead the transformation of our Line 1 risk governance capability across the Brand, Marketing, Technology and Corporate Affairs teams. This is a strategic, high-impact position at the intersection of governance, customer experience, and business performance. It is a key driver in our ability to deliver our vision in a safe and trusted way for customers and Insignia.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the implementation of the risk transformation program of work to time. 
  • Track progress against key success metrics adjusting the plan where required in order to achieve targets.
  • Partner closely with executives, business area leaders, and project teams to embed best-practice risk, governance and opportunity thinking.
  • Define and communicate clear RACI for 3LOA across the division
  • Review, challenge and redefine the approach to governance, risk, and compliance across Marketing, advertising and social media.
  • Define and document policies, processes and procedures to support Governance uplift aligned to broader IFL policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to uplift risk, controls and mitigants
  • Create a ‘speak up’ culture across the teams, defining programs that encourage risk conversations at all levels.
  • Perform assurance reviews on Transformation initiatives or application of the Enterprise Delivery Framework.

 

What you will bring: 

  • Undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce, Law or relevant subjects (mandatory)
  • 5+ years in risk and compliance management roles in complex financial services organisations or other highly regulated industries
  • Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks as it applies to complex financial services organisations and superannuation.
  • Experience implementing risk transformation programs in a similar environment.
  • Highly effective communicator and influencer—able to navigate senior stakeholder environments and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Thrive in a culture of accountability and delivery and can drive and deliver solutions.
  • Curious mindset, ability to continually learn and adapt and the courage to have difficult conversations for the right outcome.
  • Proven leadership in driving governance, insight, and performance across both delivery teams and executive forums.
  • Tertiary qualifications from an accredited institution in Risk Management, Enterprise Excellence or a related discipline.
