We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager – Platform Design to lead the design of our Regulatory, Tax, Fraud and Scams Prevention portfolio of initiatives. Within our Wrap Development Platform, you will shape future-state solutions that strengthen regulatory compliance, tax integrity, fraud detection and scams prevention, while delivering secure, intuitive and scalable experiences for advisers, clients and operational teams. You will work closely with product, technology, risk, compliance, operations and external partners to translate complex regulatory, legislative and financial crime challenges into pragmatic platform designs and delivery-ready outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide decisions, uplift customer protection, and deliver meaningful improvements across critical risk and compliance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of platform capabilities across regulatory change, tax obligations, fraud detection and scams prevention initiatives, ensuring alignment to business, customer, risk and technology needs
- Define future-state platform journeys, workflows, operating models, controls, integration points and data requirements that support compliant, secure and auditable outcomes
- Translate complex regulatory, tax, fraud and scams prevention requirements into solution design artefacts
- Establish and uphold design principles, standards, and governance to ensure quality and consistency

- Facilitate design workshops to align stakeholders on scope, priorities, controls, trade-offs and implementation impacts across risk, compliance, operations and technology
- Partner with business and technology teams to shape initiatives from regulatory interpretation and risk assessment through to solution design and delivery
- Provide oversight and challenge to ensure solution designs are cohesive, pragmatic, controlled, auditable and fit for purpose
- Influence decision-making through clear communication of design rationale, compliance impacts, risk considerations, dependencies and customer outcomes
- Support business readiness and change impacts associated with new regulatory, tax, fraud and scams prevention capabilities
What you will bring:
- Proven experience designing and delivering platform, product and/or digital solutions within Wealth Management platforms, Superannuation, IDPS or the Financial Services sector, ideally with a focus onregulatory change, tax, fraud detection, scams prevention and/or risk-related initiatives
- Strong understanding of platform architecture, APIs, integrations, data flows, controls, auditability and process design
- Ability to work across business, product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal and external partner functions
- Demonstrated ability to interpret regulatory obligations and translate them into practical platform requirements, control points and customer-focused design outcomes
- Experience working with fraud, scams prevention, financial crime, tax reporting or regulatory compliance stakeholders would be highly regarded
- Experience in agile delivery environments, including backlog shaping and delivery planning
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills across senior audiences
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead workshops and resolve ambiguity
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery outcomes
- Experience establishing design standards, frameworks, or best practices
