We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full stack Engineer opportunity to do greenfield work with modern technologies. In this role you will join a highly collaborative team that is rebuilding how digital tools, calculators and integrations are designed and delivered across a regulated financial environment.

You will help shape new React and API-driven applications from the ground up, experiment with emerging search and AI capabilities, and work with cloud-native services across AWS and GCP. Just as importantly, you will be encouraged to bring ideas, challenge thinking, and grow your technical skills as the platform and team evolve.If you enjoy learning fast, working on meaningful customer-facing products, and having real influence over technical direction, this is a role where your impact will be visible.

In this role, you will design, build and support modern digital tools and integrations that underpin critical customer and business experiences.

• Build new forms, tools, calculators and integrations using React on the frontend and API-driven services on the backend
• Develop, test and deploy clean, reusable and well-documented code, owning delivery from idea through to production
• Work with REST, GraphQL APIs and webhooks (or similar) and upstream integrations across microservices and platforms
• Leverage low-code and no-code integration tooling such as Workato
• Partner closely with your Tech Lead, Product Owner and peers through agile ceremonies and day-to-day collaboration
• Support and enhance applications in production, ensuring resilience, performance and security
• Contribute to emerging work in search and AI, helping explore conversational and intelligent search experiences as the capability matures

What You Bring to This Role

You bring strong full stack fundamentals, curiosity, and the confidence to work across frontend, backend and cloud-based systems.

• Significant experience building web-based applications and APIs, ideally 5+ years
• Strong hands-on experience with React, preferably using TypeScript
• Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals including state management, responsive design, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Backend experience with Spring Boot or Node.js, with a strong grasp of API concepts
• Experience working with REST APIs and API authentication patterns, with GraphQL experience highly regarded
• Cloud experience, ideally across AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch and Secrets Manager
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• A proactive mindset with a passion for learning, sharing ideas, and taking initiative
• Experience in highly regulated environments such as financial services is advantageous
• Any exposure to search platforms or AI-driven solutions is a bonus, but curiosity and transferable concepts matter more than specific vendors
