Senior Engineer - AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)

At Insignia Financial, we’re rebuilding and reimagining the digital platforms that power our business - in-house, from the ground up. As a Senior AEM Engineer, you’ll bring deep technical expertise across Adobe Experience Manager and modern front-end frameworks to help drive a large-scale web transformation across our multi-brand portfolio.

This is a critical hands-on role for a natural technical expert. You’ll be our SME in AEM Cloud, guiding architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and solving complex platform challenges. No vendor handovers. No outdated tech stack. Just solid engineering work that matters.

The opportunity to join our team

Be a key technical contributor and mentor in a high-performing in-house engineering team.

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance websites using AEM Cloud, Adobe Edge Delivery Services, and React
• Shape and advocate for best-practice AEM architecture, integrations, and development approaches
• Deliver end-to-end features and enhancements across our core public-facing digital properties
• Partner with UX, content, marketing, and platform teams to bring fast, intuitive digital experiences to life
• Guide the integration of AEM with tools like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and AWS APIs
• Mentor other engineers and champion modern development practices – testing, CI/CD, observability
• Contribute to the team’s technical roadmap and knowledge sharing culture
• Get hands-on with proof-of-concepts, tech spikes, and new capabilities (like EDS)

What You Bring to This Role

To be successful in this role you’ve built and scaled serious AEM platforms, and still love being close to the code.

• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud, including HTL, Sling Models, OSGi, Core Components, templates, workflows, and integrations
• Full-stack development experience using Java, React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience on building and managing websites using Adobe's Edge Delivery Services,
• Experience in cloud-based, headless, or composable architecture environments
• Familiarity with modern engineering workflows: CI/CD, test automation, Jenkins, etc.
• Clear communication style and a collaborative mindset - you don’t gatekeep, you lift others up
• A background in UX or content-led design thinking is a bonus
