The opportunity to join our team

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Marketing & Engagement function on a 12‑month max‑term basis, supporting the delivery of high‑impact marketing campaigns with clear, visible business outcomes. You’ll be embedded in a collaborative, high‑performing team and work closely with experienced analysts, data scientists, marketers and automation specialists to ensure campaigns are targeted effectively, executed seamlessly, and continuously improved through data‑driven insight.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys owning campaign data end to end, from audience build and data prep, through to insight generation and measuring success. If you’re a strong SQL analyst who enjoys translating data into action and partnering with stakeholders to influence outcomes, this role will suit you well.

In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the data side of marketing campaigns, working across BAU delivery and change activity. You’ll have the opportunity to lead campaign related data work independently, contribute to meaningful marketing initiatives, and operate in an environment that values accountability, quality and impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Own endtoend data delivery for marketing campaigns - from audience identification and data preparation through to post campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Use advanced SQL to manage, transform and analyse data from multiple sources
  • Build accurate, compliant campaign audiences, including applying exclusions and business logic
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Martech and Automation teams to enable seamless campaign execution
  • Analyse campaign performance using Power BI dashboards, generating insights that improve targeting, engagement and outcomes
  • Support the use of predictive models to identify and refine target audiences
  • Engage directly with stakeholders, independently leading discussions, clarifying requirements and driving delivery
  • Ensure responsible, compliant use of customer data in a regulated environment

About You

You’re a self starter who’s comfortable operating autonomously in a delivery focussed environment. You bring:

  • Advanced SQL skills with confidence working across complex, large scale datasets
  • Experience using SQL and Python for data processing, automation and analysis, supporting end‑to‑end campaign insight
  • Strong experience in marketing analytics, campaign performance analysis and insight generation
  • A clear understanding of how data supports campaign targeting, measurement and optimisation
  • Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders and translate business needs into data outcomes
  • A strong data quality, governance and compliance mindset
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated environments (preferred, not essential)
