We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Advice & Customer Technology team. Reporting to the Domain Owner, you will translate complex business needs into clear requirements and support the design and delivery of effective technology solutions. You will work across large-scale transformation initiatives, partnering with product owners, delivery teams, subject matter experts and business stakeholders to define problems, shape target-state solutions and deliver meaningful organisational change. Using systems thinking and a data-driven approach, you will help ensure solutions align with our strategic priorities, governance standards and commitment to creating financial wellbeing for every Australian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and synthesise information from multiple enterprise sources to establish a shared understanding of business problems, opportunities and desired outcomes.
- Lead outcome-focused workshops, stakeholder meetings and requirement-refinement sessions, facilitating timely decisions and resolution of agreed actions.
- Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements as clear user stories with measurable acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Product Owners to validate and prioritise user stories, manage the backlog and track work through delivery.
- Undertake process mapping, current-state and target-state analysis, problem solving and change-impact assessments.
- Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts and obtain appropriate stakeholder decisions and approvals in line with delivery governance.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and delivery impediments, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Change teams to support solution testing, operational readiness and successful implementation
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of dedicated business analysis experience using recognised analysis techniques, ideally within agile delivery environments.
- Proven Senior Business Analyst experience across financial advice, superannuation or investment services.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale transformation programs and complex organisational change.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build trusted relationships.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
