We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering advice efficiency and digital experience initiatives across our Platform Development & Digital Experience team. This role will focus on improving how advisers and support teams interact with the platform by simplifying journeys, reducing manual effort, maximise straight-through processing, and delivering intuitive, scalable digital experiences. Working closely with business, product, technology, operations, data and UX teams, you will lead the analysis of adviser and client needs, translate them into clear requirements, and help shape solutions that improve adviser productivity, client outcomes and operational efficiency. This is an opportunity to influence the future of the adviser and client experience, contribute to strategic platform capability, and play a key role in delivering digital enhancements that make it easier for advisers to do business with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements definition for advice efficiency and digital experience initiatives, ensuring clear alignment to Wrap strategy, adviser productivity, client experience and operational efficiency outcomes
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, adviser and client journeys and data requirements
- Define current and future state adviser and operational processes, identifying opportunities to remove manual effort, reduce duplication, improve usability and increase straight-through processing
- Translate adviser, client and business pain points into actionable digital requirements that support intuitive, secure and scalable platform experiences
- Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, including discovery, prioritisation, validation and stakeholder sign-off
- Partner with Product, UX, Technology, Operations, External, Risk, Data External stakeholders to shape backlogs and delivery priorities
- Facilitate workshops, journey mapping sessions, refinement forums and stakeholder alignment discussions to drive shared understanding and decision-making
- Contribute to solution design by ensuring requirements consider usability, integration, data, controls, compliance obligations, adoption and measurable business value
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and support delivery cadence, ensuring squads have the clarity needed to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor who bridges adviser needs, business outcomes and technology delivery
- Drive continuous improvement in analysis practices, digital delivery discipline and requirements quality, while supporting and mentoring other analysts
What you will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in senior business analyst roles, ideally within financial services, wealth, superannuation, investments or platform environments
- Proven experience delivering digital, adviser, client or operational efficiency initiatives in agile delivery environments
- Strong capability in requirements documentation, process models, journey maps, data flows and business rules
- Experience analysing end-to-end user journeys and identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve usability and reduce manual effort
- Understanding of advice, adviser workflows, platform operations or wealth management processes highly regarded
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro
- Understanding of platform architectures, APIs, integrations, data flows and digital analytics desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, outcome-focused and highly organised approach
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to bring clarity across business and technology teams
- A growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, customer-led design and delivering best-practice digital experiences
