We’re looking for a Risk Manager to join our Line 1 Risk team, partnering closely with the Asset Management business to strengthen risk capability, embed best practice, and support strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work directly with the business to ensure strong risk management, regulatory compliance, and a proactive risk culture.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Embed the organisation’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) and control environment across Asset Management
  • Partner with business leaders to strengthen risk practices and culture across Asset Management
  • Provide risk and regulatory advice on strategic initiatives, projects, and business activities
  • Assess regulatory developments and support the business to implement change effectively
  • Review proposals and initiatives to ensure compliance obligations and risk considerations are appropriately addressed
  • Provide clear, concise risk reporting and insights to business leaders
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit
  • Drive continuous improvement in risk processes, frameworks, and methodologies

 

What we’re looking for

  • Strong risk and compliance management experience within wealth management
  • Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of regulatory obligations and risk and compliance frameworks
  • Solid experience managing frameworks, policies and processes in complex, dynamic organisations
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving risk capability and culture
