This role is critical in helping to build a strong Risk Governance model for Enterprise Service (aligned with IFLs Risk Management (RM) frameworks) and implement policies and processes to enable risk aware business outcomes and compliance with relevant regulations. As a Risk and Change Manager, you will support the Enterprise Services division in ensuring they manage their key risks and compliance obligations and appropriately manage delivered risks from projects Senior Consultant, Supplier Governance & Reporting and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive, coordinate and support in the provision of business aligned quality and timely risk and compliance services within the Enterprise Services division
- Review, develop and business line risk profiles and key risk metrics.
- Provide insights into emerging risks and areas for improvement.
- Provide 1st Line risk and compliance support on incidents, breaches and issues.
- Facilitate the identification and assessment of risks and controls against business objectives and core processes, including facilitating regular reviews and updates.
- Proactively embed and improve risk and compliance culture across the Enterprise Services division, including but not limited to leading training and awareness sessions.
- Own the relationship with key change related stakeholders including related to enterprise projects and Regulatory change team in Risk Management
- Assist ES teams in identifying, assessing and prioritising potential risks from projects, business initiatives or regulatory change that could impact the IFL’s business environment.
- Ensure risk management, compliance and governance practices are robust, well designed, and embedded across Enterprise Services in line with Insignia Risk Management framework requirements.
What you will bring
- Demonstrated relevant industry experience
- Good understanding of risk management & governance principles.
- Previous experience within a change management or project risk role preferred.
- A relevant tertiary or post graduate degree in Finance, Risk or Business discipline
- Experience in risk and governance forums reporting.
- Ability to interact and collaborate with business stakeholders by displaying strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of Financial operational risks including Unit Pricing and Investment Administration practices in the wealth industry preferable.
- Experience in superannuation / funds management / financial service industry preferable.
- Planning, time management, organisational skills, team development and creating a diverse and supportive culture.
- Strong communication and business writing skills
