- Make a difference, make it meaningful
At Insignia Financial, transformation isn’t just a concept. it’s already underway, backed by real investment and actively shaping the future of our business.
This is your opportunity to step into a principal-level role at the centre of one of the most complex and high-impact transformations in wealth today, redefining how financial advice is delivered, scaled, and experienced.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering major change across the advice ecosystem, working closely with senior leaders and influencing critical technology decisions. This is a role where you’ll take ideas from strategy through to real outcomes, combining thoughtful design with a strong focus on execution.
You’ll join a highly engaged, collaborative, and pragmatic team, partnering closely with the business to deliver meaningful, lasting transformation.
The opportunity to join our team
We’re hiring a Principal Architect to lead architecture across our Advice Technology transformation, one of the most important programs shaping the future of how we deliver financial advice in a rapidly evolving market.
This role is focused on driving meaningful, large-scale change. You’ll play a key part in reimagining how advice is delivered in a landscape shaped by rising demand, evolving customer expectations, and emerging technologies such as AI. You’ll contribute to transformation initiatives aligned to our Vision 2030 strategy, helping to solve complex challenges and create solutions.
Working at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and business decision-making, you’ll help shape architecture that is not only well designed, but successfully delivered and embedded across the business.
What you will be doing
- Lead architecture across Advice transformation programs, balancing strategy with execution
- Define and drive end-to-end architecture outcomes, ensuring designs are carried through to delivery
- Act as a trusted problem solver for complex, high-impact challenges, bringing clarity and direction where needed
- Influence senior stakeholders across technology and business to shape decisions
- Drive pragmatic outcomes, ensuring architecture enables delivery at pace
- Run and contribute to options analysis, strategy development, and vendor decisions
- Ensure alignment to enterprise strategy while adapting to real-world constraints
What you will bring
We’re looking for an experienced architect who operates comfortably across business, technology, and deliver. Someone who can influence at a senior level, bring clarity to complex challenges, and see ideas through to outcomes.
- Proven track record delivering tangible business outcomes, with a strong focus on impact over theory
- Ability to operate confidently at executive level and influence without direct authority
- Pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with a bias toward execution
- Strong problem-solving capability and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture across multiple domains, with exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives
- Ability to connect across applications, data, infrastructure, security, and customer experience to deliver end-to-end outcomes
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at a senior level
- Experience in wealth, financial services, or advice environments is beneficial, along with exposure to high-touch service industries
- Experience working with software vendors or applying AI within enterprise architecture or transformation is advantageous
