The opportunity to join our team

We are seeking a Manager, Trustee Initiatives and Financing to join our Member Office team. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of key Trustee initiatives and operations, ensuring the execution of the Trustees’ strategy and business plan. You will play a critical part in ensuring the Trustees continue to meet their fiduciary and regulatory obligations while driving improved outcomes for members.

 

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll partner with stakeholders across the organisation, contribute to projects and help shape initiatives that put members first.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and challenge on the Trustees’ strategy, business planning and member outcomes assessments, ensuring alignment across planning cycles and delivery
  • Monitor delivery of strategic initiatives and programs, including funding, benefits realisation and emerging risks
  • Provide reporting and oversight of Trustee financials, including fund and corporate capacity, expenses and cost drivers, in conjunction with Group Finance.  
  • Support the MO obligations with respect to FAR  
  • Draft and contribute to Board papers and Trustee reporting as required. 

 

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in financial services/ superannuation/ wealth / investment  
  • Good stakeholder communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Transformation and project management experience (preferred)  
  • Relevant finance experience 
  • Curiosity and a learning mindset, data informed judgement, technology and digital literacy, an adaptive and collaborative working style and analytical challenge and insight
