The opportunity to join our team
As Manager, Operations & Partnerships, you will play a key role in overseeing and monitoring SS&C in the delivery of services to Insignia Financial. You will support the Operations & Partnerships function in managing strategic outsourced partnerships, with a strong focus on risk, compliance and governance. The role is centred on embedding Insignia Financial’s Risk Management Framework and ensuring regulatory and contractual obligations are met. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and SS&C to uplift risk maturity, strengthen controls and drive continuous improvement. This role is critical in supporting best-practice service delivery for customers at scale and at low cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with key stakeholders across Insignia Financial to establish objectives, targets and KPIs for the SS&C strategic partnership
- Oversee and manage risks, issues and incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation activities
- Identify risk and compliance trends to enable ongoing uplift of controls, mitigants and risk management practices
- Monitor SS&C KRAs and performance ratings where appropriate
- Support the uplift of risk culture across Operations & Partnerships and with SS&C
- Embed and manage continuous improvement capability for risk and compliance within the function
- Support maturity uplift of the Operations & Partnerships team in line with Insignia Financial’s Risk Management Framework
- Support management to ensure activities meet all legal, regulatory and policy obligations, including governance, reporting, audit and compliance requirements
- Provide support for additional partnership requirements across SS&C and Master Trust as they arise
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Commerce or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience overseeing external partnerships within complex operating environments
- Demonstrated experience uplifting risk, compliance and governance maturity across a business
- Strong capability in developing business reporting that delivers meaningful insights to senior leaders
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Extensive experience managing incidents, issues and remediation programs
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members to support high performance
- Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, forums and boards
