The opportunity to join our team
This is an opportunity to join Insignia Financial at a pivotal time, contributing to one of the organisation's most significant periods of transformation. Working across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives, you'll help provide the governance, insights and portfolio visibility that enable informed investment decisions and successful delivery outcomes.
You'll gain enterprise-wide exposure, bringing together portfolio performance, delivery health, risks, dependencies, financial outcomes, resource capacity and benefits realisation to create a clear view of how strategic change is progressing across the organisation. Partnering closely with executives, Finance, Risk, PMOs and delivery teams, you'll play an important role in strengthening governance, informing decision-making and supporting the successful execution of Insignia Financial's strategic priorities.
Beyond portfolio oversight, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape the future of Enterprise Portfolio Management. You'll lead initiatives that leverage automation, AI and data-driven insights to improve reporting, simplify processes and enhance decision-making. You'll be encouraged to challenge conventional thinking, introduce new ideas and help evolve how portfolio management is delivered across the enterprise.
With a small, high-performing team and enterprise-wide reach, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to strategic outcomes, influence how portfolio management evolves and see the impact of your work firsthand.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver clear, timely and decision-ready reporting across portfolio health, delivery performance, financials, resources and benefits realisation
- Analyse portfolio trends, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes, providing independent insights and practical recommendations
- Support the operation of the Portfolio Investment Committee, including reporting, agendas, actions and decision records
- Maintain and continuously improve enterprise portfolio governance and benefits management standards, processes and guidance
- Partner with project managers and PMO teams to improve reporting quality, consistency and the application of governance requirements
- Lead improvements across portfolio reporting and administration through automation, AI, analytics and smarter ways of working
What you will bring
You'll be a capable portfolio professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly navigate complex information and communicate insights with clarity and confidence. You'll be equally comfortable partnering with senior leaders as you are diving into the detail to validate data, challenge assumptions, and improve reporting outcomes. Experience in financial services or another regulated environment will be highly regarded, as will relevant project, program, or portfolio management qualifications. Importantly, you'll bring curiosity, initiative, sound judgement, and a strong sense of ownership, enabling you to contribute from day one as part of a small, high-performing team.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience in enterprise portfolio management, PMO, portfolio governance or project governance, ideally around five years or more
- Understands portfolio governance and has proficiency in preparing reporting for executive or Board-level audiences
- Can interpret complex portfolio information and turn it into concise, actionable insights
- Brings strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to provide constructive challenge
- Has experience using portfolio, reporting or analytics platforms
- Has applied, or is genuinely experienced in applying, automation and AI tools to improve portfolio governance, reporting or management processes
