The opportunity to join our team

The Investment Reporting Analyst is responsible for building and overseeing the production of engaging monthly, quarterly, and other essential reports and communications for MLC Asset Management Funds. This opportunity is suited to a driven and detail-oriented individual who thrives on taking ownership of reporting processes and delivering exceptional results. You will help drive and manage a number of our reports and systems, ensuring accuracy and quality that exceed expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and evolve high-quality reports and communications to keep our clients informed and engaged
  • Work with various investment team members to prepare commentaries, as well as source and check quantitative data including performance and asset allocation information
  • Maintain effective working relationships with various teams across the business and look for ways to evolve and improve reporting processes
  • Reviewing, editing and delivering commentary for inclusion in reports
  • Analyse data to provide actionable insights and enhance our client understanding of our funds and capabilities
  • Working with team members to deliver to client data and other requirements
  • Keeping abreast of competitor reporting to ensure our reporting is leading-edge
  • Work with reporting software to build and maintain client reports

 

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the funds management industry is preferred
  • Qualifications in finance, commerce, economics or relevant field
  • A keen interest in investments
  • Effective written communication skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines whilst delivering high quality output
  • Ability to interact and communicate with senior funds management professionals and extract key messages and investment insights
  • Analytical skills, particularly quantitative
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders
