At Insignia Financial, technology plays a critical role in delivering our business strategy and outcomes for our customers. As our transformation agenda continues to grow in scale and complexity, we’re creating a new senior leadership role to strengthen how technology initiatives are planned, prioritised, governed and executed across the enterprise. Insignia Financial has a large and complex Technology division employing 500 people, supporting 600+ applications and 3,500 users.

This is a newly created Head‑of level role, designed to bring clarity, consistency and confidence to how major technology programs are delivered end to end.

The opportunity

As Head of Technology Portfolio Execution, you’ll own technology delivery at a portfolio level. You’ll operate at the intersection of multiple technology, Business Units and senior leadership, bringing structure to planning, consistency to execution, and transparency to decision making. When priorities compete you’ll help drive clear, fact based decisions so stakeholders understand what’s progressing, what isn’t, and why.

You’ll lead through judgement, influence and clarity, supported by experienced Project Managers and a committed Leadership Team. You’ll also lead a small team of Project Managers, setting clear expectations and standards, and enabling them to deliver consistently across the portfolio. You’ll have genuine authority to shape what progresses and what does not, using data and evidence to guide decisions, with escalation to senior leadership where required.

Your focus will include:

• End to end oversight of large, complex technology programs (largely infrastructure led)
• Establishing consistent ways of working across the technology portfolio
• Improving visibility, reporting and stakeholder confidence
• Leading prioritisation and resource decisions when demand exceeds capacity
• Influencing senior leaders with clear, data led insight

You’re recognised for building strong relationships, aligning diverse stakeholders, and helping organisations focus on what matters most. You bring energy to shaping how work gets done and pride yourself on making thoughtful, evidence‑based decisions.

You’ll bring:

• Experience leading portfolios or large‑scale technology programs in complex organisations
• Strong senior stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across groups
• A solid, practical understanding of technology and how it enables business outcomes
• Confidence to prioritise, make trade‑offs and guide decisions using data and insight
• A calm, collaborative leadership style that builds trust and momentum

This is a strong next step for senior program or portfolio leaders ready to move beyond delivery into broader technology leadership.
