The opportunity to join our team

This is an opportunity to step into a senior P&C partnering role where you’ll have genuine influence over how key business areas are structured, how our workforce evolves and how our people strategy supports the organisation’s priorities.

As Head of P&C Business Partnering, you’ll work closely with Executives and senior leaders, connecting business strategy with our broader people priorities. A key part of the role is leading complex organisational design and workforce change, from shaping future operating models and developing the business case through to approval and implementation. You’ll also help shape leadership, capability and culture outcomes as we continue to strengthen our high-performance culture.

This isn’t a people leadership role in the traditional sense. You won’t have direct reports, but you will play an important leadership role across P&C through your influence, coaching and contribution to how we work.

What you’ll do

You’ll act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders, helping them work through complex organisational and workforce challenges while translating business priorities into practical people solutions.

  • Lead organisational design and operating model work, shaping future structures, accountabilities and workforce requirements.
  • Develop and influence business cases for workforce and operating model change, taking these from initial thinking through approval and implementation.
  • Partner with Executives and leadership teams on people strategy, workforce priorities, organisational effectiveness and future capability needs.
  • Lead talent reviews and calibration forums, driving meaningful development, succession and retention actions that enhance organisational capability and performance.
  • Use workforce insights, people data and business metrics, including engagement survey results to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to complex transformation activity, including M&A integration or separation activity where required.
  • Partner with P&C specialist teams across areas such as organisational development and workplace relations to shape and deliver broader people initiatives.
  • Coach and build capability across the P&C team, sharing your experience and identifying opportunities to make our model and service delivery more effective.

What You Bring to This Role

You’ll be an experienced P&C Business Partner who can move comfortably between strategy and delivery. You’ll know how to challenge thinking, influence senior stakeholders and turn complex challenges into clear solutions.

  • Significant experience in senior P&C Business Partnering roles, working directly with Executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Strong organisational design experience, including delivering large-scale workforce and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience developing and delivering people strategies and plans that connect directly to business priorities and outcomes.
  • Confidence influencing, challenging and advising senior stakeholders on complex workforce matters.
  • Experience supporting leadership, talent, engagement, capability and culture outcomes.
  • A practical, strategic mindset with the ability to take ownership, solve problems and navigate competing priorities.
