As Head of AI Strategy & Enablement, you will define and lead the AI strategy for MLC Expand, identifying where AI can create the greatest value across our business and translating that vision into a practical uses cases for execution. This role offers an opportunity to think beyond implementing new technology. It's about reimagining how AI can be used across the organisation through scalable, repeatable and sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, enhance decision making, simplify processes and create competitive advantage.
What you will do
You'll set the strategic direction for AI across the Wrap business and ensure opportunities are translated into measurable business outcomes.
- Develop and lead the MLC Expand AI strategy
- Identify and prioritise AI opportunities that improve efficiency, productivity and user experiences
- Design scalable, repeatable and sustainable AI solutions that create long-term value
- Partner with business leaders to embed AI into key workflows and business processes
- Establish effective AI and automation governance, controls and monitoring frameworks
- Work closely with Risk, Legal, Privacy, Cyber, Data and Technology teams to ensure responsible AI practices
- Measure adoption, benefits realisation, productivity gains and business outcomes
- Monitor market trends, emerging technologies and competitive developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats
What You Bring to This Role
We're looking for an influential strategic leader who combines commercial thinking, AI knowledge and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
- Extensive experience leading AI strategy, digital transformation, automation, data or AI-enabled business transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-level strategies
- Strong understanding of AI, automation and emerging technology trends
- Experience delivering complex change through cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation, risk and execution
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on productivity, efficiency and user outcomes
- Experience establishing governance, controls and adoption frameworks for new technology capabilities
- Experience within financial services, wealth management, platforms or other regulated industries will be highly regarded
