The Opportunity 

As a Financial Crime Analyst within Insignia Financial’s Operations team, you will assist with various tasks as required under our AML/CTF and Financial Crime program/s. The successful candidate will have previous experience identifying & investigating high risk customers and conducting subsequent due diligence checks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) and High-Risk Customer identification
  • Triage and response to all enquiries/notifications of financial crime related breaches.
  • Perform a comprehensive KYC refresh checks to ensure up-to-date and accurate customer information.
  • Identification and escalation of relevant matters to management.
  • Supporting other aspects of the AML/CTF and financial crime program/s as required.
  • Carry out analysis and validation of key data sets and resulting change management tasks in ensuring accuracy and completeness of data for customer due diligence (CDD)  (including PEP Registers review)

 

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a financial crime role with strong understanding AML/CTF regulations, KYC requirements, and other financial crime compliance frameworks.
  • Tertiary qualification/studies in intelligence, justice, accounting, business, commerce, or law Desirable
  • A related professional certification such as Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification (CAMS) is desirable.
