The opportunity to join our team

We're entering the next phase of transformation within Advice Technology.

We've developed a clear and ambitious vision for our Advice ecosystem through our FY30 strategy. Now we're looking for a strategic technology leader to bring that vision to life.

As Domain Owner - Advice, you'll play a key role in turning strategy into execution, translating long-term objectives into practical roadmaps, priorities and delivery outcomes. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll act as the front door for Advice Technology, partnering closely with senior executives, business leaders, architects, product teams and engineers to ensure everyone is aligned around a common direction.

You'll bring structure, clarity and momentum to a complex domain, helping modernise our advice ecosystem while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement. With a strong team of Business Analysts and technology professionals around you, you'll create the environment for people to thrive while ensuring strategic priorities translate into measurable outcomes.

In this role, you'll help shape the future of advice by:

  • Owning the Advice technology roadmap and translating the FY30 strategy into clear priorities, sequencing and delivery plans.
  • Acting as the strategic link between business and technology teams, ensuring investment decisions are aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Presenting the direction, progress and value of the Advice technology portfolio to executive stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities to leverage automation, AI and emerging technologies to improve adviser, client and business outcomes.
  • Providing end-to-end ownership across the Advice technology domain, from strategy and planning through to delivery and optimisation.
  • Leading and developing a team of Business Analysts, creating structure, capability and strong delivery practices.
  • Driving alignment across product, engineering, architecture, delivery and business teams to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Bringing outside-in thinking by monitoring market trends, competitors and emerging technologies that can influence our roadmap.

What You Bring to This Role

You'll be a strategic technology leader who can comfortably operate between senior leadership and delivery teams, bringing people together around a shared vision and creating the clarity needed to execute.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience leading technology domains, portfolios, product ecosystems or major transformation programs within financial services.
  • A strong understanding of wealth management, advice, banking, insurance or other regulated industries.
  • Experience translating strategy into roadmaps, priorities and measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and build credibility across business and technology teams.
  • Strong leadership experience with a passion for building high-performing, engaged and accountable teams.
  • Experience driving modernisation, platform transformation or large-scale technology change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of digital platforms, data, cloud technologies, integrations, automation or AI-enabled solutions.

This is a rare opportunity to turn a clear strategy into meaningful action, with strong executive backing to deliver. You’ll influence major technology decisions, build capability, and shape how advisers, clients and employees experience advice technology at scale.

If you’re energised by bringing people, strategy and delivery together to create lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.
