We have an awesome opportunity for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Team here at Insignia Financial! Our Unit Pricing Team is responsible for developing, supporting, and hosting a unit pricing system used by internal users. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in strengthening the team’s DevOps capabilities, improving system maturity, and leading technical initiatives as we evolve our cloud strategy and capabilities.
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our DevOps code base, providing production support, and ensuring the continued success of our system. This role will also offer you the opportunity to make a genuine impact, guide and mentor colleagues, and contribute to uplifting capabilities.
Key areas and responsibilities of this role will include:
- Lead and contribute to DevOps projects by leveraging your AWS and cloud expertise to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions that enhance system operations and scalability.
- Mentor and coach others in technical areas, focusing on cloud knowledge and skill development.
- Support production environments and troubleshoot where necessary, aligning with team responsibilities.
- Actively contribute to the team’s growth by sharing expertise, fostering collaboration, and supporting cross-training.
- Participate in a weekly support roster to maintain the system in production and ensure seamless user experiences.
What You Bring to This Role
We’re seeking someone with a strong foundation in AWS DevOps, technical problem-solving, and operational support, who is ready to expand their skillset and make a tangible difference.
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer in an AWS environment
- Experience or interest in production incident resolution and investigating technical issues to ensure system stability
- Either experience mentoring peers or sharing technical knowledge, or the passion and drive to include this in your next role
- Growth mindset and desire to continuously learn and develop in a supportive, collaborative team.
