About the Role
As a Wrap Data Steward, you’ll play a critical role in improving the quality, consistency and governance of data across the Wrap business. You’ll partner closely with business and technology teams to ensure data is created, managed and used effectively—enabling better analytics, stronger insights and improved client outcomes.
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll influence how data is captured at source, help resolve data quality issues, and uplift data governance capability across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the data steward for assigned Wrap data domains, ensuring data is accurate, complete, timely and consistent
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues, including root cause analysis, risk escalation and reporting
- Partner with business and technology teams to embed strong data governance practices and support data-driven initiatives
- Guide and support business data stewards to improve processes and ensure quality data capture at source
- Provide input and governance oversight for new initiatives to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Support appropriate data access, sharing and handling of sensitive data in line with governance standards
- Promote data literacy and best practice across the Wrap business
- Contribute to the uplift of data governance capability and continuous improvement of data practices
What you will bring:
- Experience in data governance, data quality, master data management or related data-focused roles
- Strong background working across both technical and business stakeholders, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Understanding of data concepts including metadata, lineage and data lifecycle management
- Technical capability (e.g. SQL) and exposure to data analysis, modelling, reporting or data visualisation
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate across stakeholders and drive outcomes in a complex environment
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to uplift data literacy and guide non-technical teams
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
