Corporate Tax Manager
We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our Finance team, playing a key role in ensuring the Group’s tax obligations are managed effectively while supporting the business with high-quality tax advice.
This is a great opportunity to work across a broad range of tax matters in a complex financial services environment, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to maintain strong governance, manage tax risk, and support strategic initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage tax risk across the Group’s corporate entities in line with the Tax Governance Framework, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all taxation obligations, including accurate and timely tax calculations for reporting and regulatory requirements
- Provide tax advice to support business initiatives and strategic objectives
- Contribute to maintaining a strong tax control environment
- Identify and support opportunities to improve the efficiency of tax processes
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Support tax audits and disputes, including engagement with tax authorities
- Manage relationships with external tax advisers, auditors, and other stakeholders
- Assist with Board and Audit Committee reporting on tax matters
- Support engagement with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
What we’re looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Law, or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of tax law and accounting standards
- Experience managing corporate tax compliance and reporting
- Exposure to the financial services industry is beneficial
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate activities across teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the business
- Strong analytical capability and proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel
