The opportunity to join our team
Join our Advice & Customer Technology team as a CRM Developer and help design, develop and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions supporting our Financial Advice business. You will build reliable, compliant and well-structured CRM functionality that enables advisers, paraplanners, compliance and operations teams to work effectively across the advice lifecycle. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you will collaborate with technical leaders, business analysts, testers and our system integration partner. You will contribute to Dynamics 365 custom development and deliver enterprise integrations using APIs, automation technologies and the Workato iPaaS platform. Your work will help improve CRM usability, data quality and Financial Adviser productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full development lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 applications to support business and adviser workflows.
- Develop custom tables, entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules and workflows.
- Design and maintain Power Automate flows and user-friendly CRM experiences.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integration components connecting Dynamics 365 with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with technical leaders, business analysts and testers to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical design decisions, development standards and high-quality coding practices.
- Support solution deployments across environments in line with established application lifecycle management practices.
What you will bring:
- At least five years of recent, hands-on experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge of Dynamics 365, including plug-in development, workflow activities and JavaScript form logic.
- Experience with Power Apps, with exposure to Azure Functions viewed favourably.
- Development capability in JavaScript and C#/.NET for plug-ins, integrations or custom business logic.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API or ASP.NET Core API.
- Familiarity with source control, iterative development and delivery tools such as GitHub Enterprise and Jira.
- Experience supporting integrations through APIs, automation platforms or iPaaS solutions, with Workato experience considered advantageous.
- Financial advice, wealth management or broader financial services experience will be highly regarded, together with an understanding of compliance, record-keeping and audit-sensitive systems.
