We're looking for an experienced Business Delivery Manager (12 months max term) to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across our Advice & Customer business. Working across multiple stakeholders, you'll work with our Heads of Departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while driving strong governance, collaboration and execution excellence.

 

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in enabling high-performing teams, improving delivery practices, and helping the business execute on its strategic priorities.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Support Heads of with the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects and business initiatives, ensuring agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality outcomes are achieved.
  • Partner with Delivery Leads to develop and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
  • Proactively identify, manage and resolve project risks, issues and delivery roadblocks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure work is aligned, prioritised and delivered efficiently.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance, reporting and decision-making forums that provide clear visibility of delivery progress.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business, managing expectations and ensuring strong engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive accountability across delivery teams, facilitating collaboration, problem-solving and timely escalation where required.
  • Support change adoption and benefits realisation to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve delivery frameworks, processes and execution capability.

 

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, Commerce or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Project delivery certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, Scrum or SAFe are highly regarded.
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects, programs or business change initiatives in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, risk management and benefits realisation.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to manage project delivery and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, budgets, resources and dependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical, outcomes-focused approach.
  • Experience within financial services, superannuation, wealth management or another regulated industry will be highly regarded.
