The opportunity to join our team

We are seeking an experienced Advice professional to join our Sydney team as an Associate Adviser. In this role, you will work closely with Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) and Shadforth Advice Teams (SATs) to deliver optimal outcomes for our clients. You’ll have the chance to collaborate, prepare accurate advice documents, and attend client meetings alongside PWAs.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completeness of advice files by conducting necessary research, comparisons, and calculations before lodging a request for a Statement of Advice
  • Provide high-quality proactive support to clients, PWAs, and SATs
  • Comply with all Shadforth and Insignia policies, procedures and processes and service standards
  • Assist team members with key tasks related to client service and advice preparation
  • Conduct financial modelling and strategy assessment
  • Attend client meetings and take detailed file notes, where appropriate

 

What you will bring:

  • Proven Experience in financial services as a Client Relationship Manager or similar role
  • Completed or working towards FASEA qualification (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with XPLAN financial planning software
  • Strong initiative and judgement in problem-solving situations
  • Paraplanning experience would be (advantageous)
  • Passionate about delivering positive outcomes for clients and colleagues, demonstrating hard work and resilience
  • Sound understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams, investments, and social security
