The opportunity to join our team

As a Resilience Analyst, you'll play a vital role within Insignia Financials’ Cyber Security team, focusing on detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber security incidents. You'll be engaged in the daily triage of alerts, investigating potential threats, and providing essential insights that contribute to strengthening our security posture.

 

Key areas of this role include:

  • Analyse security events from our SIEM, investigating suspicious activities and assessing threats.
  • Collaborate with external Security Operations Centres (SOC) to enhance our threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Conduct threat hunting and participate in purple teaming exercises to test our defences.
  • Provide internal teams with best practice guidance and policy advice based on your findings.
  • Investigate incidents, perform digital forensics, and respond to suspicious emails to mitigate risks.

 

What you will bring:

We are looking for an analyst with experience in cyber security operations, incident response, and threat hunting, and most importantly – have a passion for cyber security operations!

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a solid understanding of security technologies, including SIEM, XDR, EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Demonstrate expertise in analysing complex security events and identifying root causes.
  • Excel at interpreting threat intelligence to improve detection and response capabilities.
  • Experience in managing incident responses, from initial identification to resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external SOC providers.
  • Stay updated on evolving cyber threats and industry best practices.
