Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance in managing the full data lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, availability, consistency, and usability. Defining data ownership and accountability, promoting best practices.
  • Oversee the application of Insignia’s information management framework, data policies, and governance standards to ensure compliance with information security, integrity, and access.
  • Lead the identification and prioritisation of key data assets, developing standardised data management planning, oversight, and control procedures.
  • Drive the tracking, reporting, and compliance with governance standards and processes across the organisation, proactively improving data quality.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Technology, and business stakeholders to continuously improve data governance practices, ensuring they are in line with regulatory requirements and business needs.

 

What You Bring to This Role

 

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable leader with a solid understanding of data governance best practices and how to apply them in a business context. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A deep understanding of data governance and information management principles, with a focus on developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing data governance models, ideally having stood up a governance forum and worked with data owners.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, being able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and guide stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, and Google Cloud Platform is an advantage – however not essential.
