The opportunity to join our team

The Fund Bank Integrity team provides a specialist function within Fund Accounting and Operations which is focused on the delivery of retail funding bank account, investments and general ledger account reconciliation services for Insignia Financial Wealth Pension and Investments and products. This ensures various superfunds/trusts regulatory requirements are met with respect to financial reporting and operating control obligations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bank and general ledger reconciliations within SLAs
  • Ensure outstanding items are reviewed, escalated and resolved per SLAs
  • Review the daily banking requirements for funds/schemes including liquidity management.
  • Monitor daily platform cash functions and reporting
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met, the provision of accurate reporting and to enable required control mechanisms.
  • Maintenance of accounting records
  • Development and foster partnerships with key business areas
  • Perform ad hoc and additional functions as and when required

 

What you will bring

  • Degree Qualified or high level of industry operational experience, preferred CA/CPA qualification (or studying towards)
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft office products
  • Experience in wealth management / financial services industry desirable
  • Experience working on implementation of automation, simplification of processes or regulatory changes
  • Investment expertise –maintains an understanding of the asset management industry, superannuation industry and different securities and financial products and how they support investor goals
  • Preferred familiarity with financial regulations
