With an engaged executive team and Cyber Security Leadership, we are seeking a passionate and driven Cyber Security Threat & Vulnerability Manager to join our new and growing team. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of cyber security at Insignia Financial, where security is fundamental to everything we do. As a key team member, you'll lead the proactive identification and mitigation of threats, analysing cyber intelligence and coordinating risk-based remediation. Collaborate on threat hunting and vulnerability validation to ensure a robust security posture and minimize cyber-attack exposure.

 

The opportunity to join our team

This is a dynamic role where you’ll lead the charge in vulnerability and patch management across Insignia Financial’s vast tech landscape. Your daily tasks will involve:

 

  • Develop and implement processes for scanning, assessing, contextualising, prioritising, and remediating vulnerabilities
  • Actively monitor threat intelligence to spot emerging risks and collaborate with various teams to drive a risk-based approach to remediation
  • Ensure our security posture remains rock-solid by effectively communicating threat information and remediation plans to all stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of cyber security experts, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and collaboration

What you will bring

Are you a go-getter with a calm demeaner and a knack for threat and vulnerability management?

We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex threat and vulnerability management programs. To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • The ability to analyse threat intelligence, pinpoint relevant threats, and translate them into actionable insights
  • A strong grasp of risk management helps you assess and prioritise vulnerabilities based on impact and exploitability
  • Well-versed experience in operating systems, networking protocols, application security, and cloud security
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, databases, and exploit frameworks like CVSS and CVE
  • Excellent communication skills which, allow you to collaborate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders and convey complex technical information clearly to ensure remedial action is taken
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber threats, industry best practices and relevant security frameworks
  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
