As we roll out our new state-of-the-art data platform on Google Cloud, with the power of BigQuery and paving the way for future machine learning and AI innovations, this role will be key in ensuring the quality and reliability of our testing processes. Key Responsibilities for the Lead Test Engineer Role Include:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks to support data engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure the quality of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data analytics solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Utilize Tosca Data Integrity for comprehensive data testing and validation.
  • Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness across various source and destination platforms.

 

What You Bring to This Role

We are seeking a skilled Lead Test Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for data quality.

 

To thrive in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in developing test automation frameworks and technically leading testing efforts in a data-centric environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Tosca DI for data testing.
  • Be familiar with Jira for tracking and managing testing activities.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understand CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
