We are seeking a Supplier Governance Advisor to play a key role in supporting our service provider governance framework and ensuring effective oversight of critical suppliers and outsourced service providers.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Service Provider Governance team, you will provide specialist governance advice, reporting insights and coordination support to ensure our service provider governance activities operate effectively and sustainably. Working closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams and service provider owners, you will help strengthen governance practices, manage risk obligations and support compliance with APRA CPS 230 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support service provider governance activities, including oversight, performance monitoring, incident management and documentation.
- Coordinate governance and reporting cycles, tracking actions, deadlines and stakeholder commitments.
- Analyse governance data and prepare reporting insights for management and governance forums.
- Maintain governance records, registers and supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness.
- Provide practical guidance on CPS 230, supplier governance and risk management requirements.
- Support procurement and ESG initiatives through supplier governance, reporting and continuous improvement activities.
About You
- 3+ years' experience in supplier governance, procurement, risk management, contract management or a related field.
- Strong capability in identifying efficiency opportunities and applying automation and AI tools to simplify processes, improve data quality and reduce manual effort.
- Knowledge of APRA CPS 230 and service provider risk management principles.
- Experience coordinating governance, reporting or assurance activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, reporting and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator who can provide practical advice and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in procurement, governance, risk or assurance are desirable.
