Are you passionate about building robust data solutions that power innovation? We have a new opportunity to join our Data Engineering team and play a key role in shaping the future of data at the heart of our technology division.

Unlike many organisations where data sits within business units, here it’s embedded in Technology, giving you exposure to a wide breadth of projects and the chance to deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions. From data quality and management through to AI enablement, you’ll work across the full lifecycle, not just one piece of the puzzle. There’s a lot to learn, a lot to deliver, and plenty of opportunities to make an impact.

In this role you’ll be hands-on in designing and delivering data solutions that ensure quality, governance and scalability across the organisation. Key focuses includes:

  • Design, build and optimise ETL pipelines using SQL and Python for processing, validation and transformation.
  • Implement data quality controls and governance frameworks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Configure and manage Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality (DQ) tools, embedding best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products that meet business needs and drive value.
  • Define and document clear data definitions, rules and tolerances to maintain consistency and transparency.

What You Bring to This Role
We’re looking for a data engineering expert who thrives on solving complex problems and delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Deep experience in data engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with Python for automation and data processing.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines, data warehousing and integration with BI tools.
  • Strong understanding of data quality and master data management principles.
  • Experience with GCP, version control tools (GitHub/GitLab) and data modelling is desirable.
  • Experience working with Informatica,Collibra, & BigQuery.
