This is an exciting opportunity to join our high-performing Wrap Custody Operations team at the heart of a dynamic and evolving investment platform environment. You will play a pivotal role in delivering critical custody outcomes across domestic and international markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational excellence. Working in a fast-paced setting, you will gain exposure to complex market activity, regulatory reporting and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll also be empowered to drive continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with Technology and Data teams to enhance automation, strengthen controls and improve efficiency. This role offers genuine scope to influence processes and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end wrap custody processing across income, trades, corporate actions, transfers and reconciliations within SLAs
  • Manage domestic and international market activity, including FX impacts and offshore market nuances
  • Investigate and resolve complex exceptions and queries, ensuring timely stakeholder communication
  • Support regulatory and tax reporting obligations (including IDPS), maintaining audit-ready documentation
  • Embed effective risk management practices and strengthen operational controls
  • Coordinate BAU and peak workflows to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Drive process improvements and partner with Technology and Data teams to enhance systems and automation

 

What you will bring:

  • Strong experience in wrap custody operations across domestic and/or international markets
  • Deep understanding of income, corporate actions, trades, reconciliations tax processes, IRESS and listed security trading
  • Experience with DTR processes is preferred but not required
  • Advanced analytical and reconciliation capability, with strong Excel skills
  • Sound knowledge of risk, controls and regulatory requirements within custody environments
  • A proactive, continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
