The opportunity to join our team

We have an exciting opportunity for a Life Insurance Administration Manager to join our Advice business. Reporting to the Insurance Team Lead, you will oversee the delivery of a centralised insurance administration service that supports advisers and clients nationally. This role is responsible for managing workflows, maintaining administration standards and ensuring the efficient implementation of insurance applications and claims through to completion. You will act as a key support partner to Advice teams, Risk Specialists and insurers while driving consistency, accuracy and service excellence across all insurance administration activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and workflow management of the Life Insurance Administration function
  • Ensure efficient implementation and completion of insurance applications in line with documented procedures
  • Support Advice teams with insurance administration processes, policy alterations and application enquiries
  • Manage insurance claims through to completion in accordance with established service standards
  • Maintain accurate client, policy and application records within Xplan
  • Liaise with insurers to obtain information, resolve issues and escalate matters where required
  • Prepare and review insurance alteration quotes across multiple insurance providers
  • Ensure insurance implementation forms are accurately prepared and prepopulated in line with Statements of Advice
  • Maintain, review and enhance documented procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Support Risk Specialists, Advisers and support staff with insurance-related queries and administration support
  • Maintain knowledge of insurer adviser portals, processes and industry requirements

 

What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar insurance administration or financial services role
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and processes
  • Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Experience using Xplan and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with advisers, insurers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change, new policies and procedures
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence
