About the Role
As Head of Institutional Super, you will lead the Institutional Employer Super segment, delivering sustained employer, member and revenue growth through integrated relationship and engagement strategies across top-tier clients. This role brings together strategic account management, member engagement and education delivery to create a seamless, high-value experience for corporate employers and their employees.
You will lead and scale a multi-disciplinary team, embed consistent account planning and use data-led insights to target growth, retention and engagement opportunities. Working closely with Product, Marketing, Advice, Operations, Risk and senior business stakeholders, you will influence enterprise priorities and help evolve the Employer Super operating model to improve scale, efficiency and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the Institutional segment strategy aligned to Employer Super priorities.
- Lead and scale a high-performing team of Account Directors and Education Managers, with clear accountability for client, growth and engagement outcomes.
- Drive integrated client strategies across top-tier employers to deliver member growth, retention, advocacy and net fund flows.
- Embed a consistent account planning framework that integrates relationship, engagement and growth strategies.
- Ensure alignment between employer strategies and member engagement programs, driving improved participation and financial wellbeing outcomes.
- Oversee the design and delivery of data-led, scalable engagement programs across the segment, including onboarding and transition experiences.
- Drive innovation in education delivery channels across digital, face-to-face and hybrid formats to maximise reach and impact.
- Establish effective segmentation and analytics to target high-value and at-risk cohorts.
- Ensure high-quality governance outcomes, including Policy Committee activity and consistent risk management across the portfolio.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Advice, Operations and Risk to deliver integrated client and member outcomes while identifying opportunities to improve scale, efficiency and impact.
What you will bring:
- Significant experience in superannuation, financial services or B2B client environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, complex client portfolios and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive growth, retention and engagement outcomes.
- Deep understanding of employer relationships, member engagement and retirement outcomes.
- Ability to integrate relationship management and engagement strategies into a cohesive client model.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into execution at scale.
- Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and shaping enterprise priorities.
- Strong data and insight capability, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable strategies.
- Experience delivering transformation and improving operating models, including digitisation and scale initiatives.
- Highly developed communication and leadership capability, with a strong focus on accountability and outcomes.
