The opportunity to join our team
In this role, you will be part of the go-to team for all employees. You will be delivering day-to-day HR support to the wider People and Culture team and the broader business. You’ll manage the full employee lifecycle, maintain accurate HR data and respond to a variety of HR-related queries.
Working closely with multiple areas across the organisation, you’ll support key HR processes, projects and compliance initiatives. Success in this role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and a service delivery mindset to enhance People & Culture operations and create a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to queries on pay, leave, hybrid working, and policies via email or phone
- Support the employee lifecycle - onboarding, internal moves, changes and terminations
- Prepare contracts, letters and advise on entitlements
- Manage probity checks (police, work rights, bankruptcy)
- Interpret entitlements under relevant industrial instruments and role classification structures
- Administer Learning Management System content, reporting and queries
- Undertake risk management activities and ensure compliance with approvals and policies
What you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred) or relevant HR/customer service/administration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, varied environment with shifting priorities
- Proactive approach and demonstrated initiative
- Strong coordination and organisation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HR systems quickly
- Excellent customer service ethic and problem-solving ability
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Ability to role model professional and ethical behaviour in People & Culture interactions
