This role offers the opportunity to lead that shift, driving organisational efficiency, cost optimisation, risk reduction and speed to market through scalable AI solutions, automation and transformation.

The opportunity to join our team

As General Manager AI Transformation, reporting to Damien O’Donnell (CTO), you will lead the enterprise AI, automation and transformation agenda across the business.

You will operate across business units with varying levels of AI and automation maturity, leading a hub and spoke model that enables consistent, scalable delivery across the organisation. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams spanning delivery, engineering, AI stewards and governance, bringing alignment, clarity and pace to execution.

This role is focused on translating a broad set of ideas into a clear, prioritised roadmap, and ensuring delivery at scale in a regulated, audit-ready environment with a balanced approach to risk.


In this role you will be accountable for enterprise outcomes:

  • Set and deliver the enterprise AI and automation strategy
  • Prioritise and scale use cases across the business
  • Drive measurable outcomes across cost, efficiency, risk and speed to market
  • Embed automation platforms and lead end-to-end process redesign
  • Establish strong governance, responsible AI practices and audit readiness
  • Lead adoption and transformation of ways of working
  • Align senior stakeholders and drive execution across the enterprise

 

What You Bring to This Role

This is a GM level role suited to a senior transformation leader with strong technical credibility. You will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering AI, automation or enterprise transformation at scale
  • Strong understanding of technology, with the ability to lead with authority and bring both technical and non-technical teams along the journey together
  • The proven ability to translate enterprise AI capability into meaningful customer and adviser outcomes
  • Experience in regulated environments with a focus on governance and risk
  • A track record of driving cost optimisation and organisational efficiency
  • The ability to align complex stakeholders and deliver across multiple business units
  • A pragmatic, outcomes-focused leadership style that turns strategy into execution
