The opportunity to join our team

You’ll play a key role in executing trades across the equity market, ensuring alignment between portfolio construction and market implementation. As a Dealer, you’ll provide real-time market intelligence, maintain strong broker relationships and contribute to efficient, compliant trade execution across multiple funds. Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Operations, and Compliance, you’ll help drive continuous improvement in trading processes, tools, and insights that support high-performing investment outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute equity trades efficiently and compliantly across multiple funds and mandates as directed by Portfolio Managers
  • Maintain real-time awareness of liquidity, order flow, and market depth
  • Monitor and communicate market-moving news, corporate actions, and macroeconomic events
  • Provide actionable market insights to Portfolio Managers and Analysts
  • Cultivate and manage strong broker relationships and regularly assess execution quality
  • Work closely with Operations and Compliance to ensure accurate trade capture and settlement
  • Build and enhance dashboards and tools to improve trading efficiency and decision-making
  • Proactively suggest process improvements and automation opportunities

 

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in investment management or a related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications such as CFA or a Master’s degree in finance or maths/science (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of equity markets, liquidity management and trade execution
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure, both independently and as part of a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders and clients
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with a focus on timely delivery
  • A proactive, outcome-oriented mindset with attention to compliance and accuracy
  • Hands-on proficiency with trading and analytics tools such as Excel and Bloomberg Terminal
