This is an opportunity to step into a Cloud Engineering role where you’ll design, build and enhance cloud solutions across a large-scale AWS and GCP environment that underpins critical business services.

The opportunity to join our team

You’ll work across a broad range of initiatives, from developing new platform capabilities through to improving existing environments, giving you the chance to see the full lifecycle of your work and the impact it has across the organisation. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that is known for sharing knowledge, supporting growth and giving engineers the space to take ownership and continuously improve how things are done.

In this role, you’ll be working on enterprise-scale cloud platforms that host core systems and data capabilities, while working closely with stakeholders across engineering, security and the wider business to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable and fit for purpose.

What you will be doing

• Improving and managing cloud landing zones across AWS and GCP
• Developing automation and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve platform efficiency
• Delivering end-to-end cloud solutions in partnership with security, engineering and business stakeholders
• Supporting and enhancing cloud platforms through BAU and project initiatives
• Collaborating across security, governance and delivery teams to ensure compliant solutions
• Creating clear technical documentation and sharing outcomes

What you will bring

We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer who is established in their career and ready to step into broader ownership, rather than someone at an entry level or already operating at a senior level.

• Proven cloud engineering experience (AWS or GCP strongly preferred)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar)
• Strong scripting/automation capability (e.g. Python or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals (networking, security, access)
• Exposure to Linux environments and modern engineering practices
• A mindset focused on learning, improving and taking ownership of outcomes
