Join our Trustee Claims team as a Claims Administrator and play an important role in supporting members through some of life's most challenging moments. This role combines customer service excellence with strong administrative capability, ensuring claims are established accurately, progressed efficiently and managed with care from start to finish. Working closely with Claims Associates and key stakeholders, you will be a trusted point of contact for members, beneficiaries and claimants, helping deliver a positive and empathetic claims experience. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, compassion and effective communication are highly valued. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily claims administration activities, including claim setup, inbox management, record keeping and data maintenance.
  • Support the assessment and decision-making of fast-track claims within agreed service standards.
  • Issue documentation, action requests and coordinate information required to progress claims efficiently.
  • Act as a key point of contact for members, beneficiaries and claimants, providing clear and timely updates throughout the claims journey.
  • Monitor claim progress and follow up outstanding requirements with members, insurers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate claim records and ensure all information is captured and managed in line with policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Claims Associates, insurers, administrators and internal teams to support timely claim outcomes.
  • Conduct customer feedback surveys and contribute to continuous improvement of the claims experience.

 

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a customer service, administration or support-focused role, ideally within insurance, financial services or claims environments.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload with competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism and clarity in every interaction.
  • Confidence engaging with customers over the phone, including navigating sensitive conversations with care and compassion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret information, policies and documentation accurately.
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members.
  • A proactive mindset, strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.
