The opportunity to join our team
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advice Practice Manager to join our Bridges team, supporting practices across WA and SA. In this role, you will be accountable for the leadership, performance, and growth of a financial planning practice, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and exceptional client experiences. You will drive the execution of growth strategies, mentor Financial Planners, and embed a high-performance, professional services culture. Partnering closely with leadership and head office teams, you will ensure alignment to national standards and strategic priorities. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering sustainable business growth while maintaining strong compliance and client-centric outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountability for revenue growth and delivery of agreed practice growth plans into creative work and brand guidelines
- Lead, develop, and manage Financial Planners to achieve individual and practice performance targets
- Oversee the efficient operation and commercial performance of the practice (including P&L accountability)
- Drive a strong client-centric culture aligned to the Bridges advice proposition and investment philosophy
- Implement national policies, processes, and standards in collaboration with leadership and head office teams
- Coach and mentor Financial Planners to enhance client acquisition and retention strategies
- Build and maintain strong referral partner relationships to support business growth
- Monitor and drive performance metrics using reporting tools to ensure accountability across the practice
- Foster a professional, ethical, and high-performing team culture
- Undertake Line 1 supervision, ensuring compliance, incident management, and audit remediation activities are completed
What you will bring:
- Significant leadership experience within the financial advice industry
- Proven success in managing commercial operations, including P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of financial advice regulations, legislation, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor Financial Planners to grow revenue and client base
- Experience driving business growth through strategic planning and execution
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism with a commitment to ethical behaviour and compliance
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., ADFP) and/or RG146 (advantageous)
- Ability to lead change and embed a high-performance culture
